The terms governing your use of Wavelogs and related services.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Wavelogs application ("App") and any related services provided by Nulle ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using Wavelogs, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Wavelogs. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. By using the App, you confirm that you meet these eligibility requirements.

2. Your Account

Certain features of Wavelogs, including AI-powered summaries, require you to create an account using Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

You are responsible for all use of your account, whether or not authorized by you, until you notify us of unauthorized access or compromise where applicable.

3. Use of the App

Wavelogs is provided for lawful, personal, and non-commercial use. You agree not to:

You may use Wavelogs in connection with your work or business activities so long as such use complies with these Terms and all applicable laws.

You may not use Wavelogs in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the App or interfere with any other user's use of the App.

4. On-Device Processing

Wavelogs performs voice transcription on your device. Your recordings and transcripts are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to our servers. You are solely responsible for your recordings and the content within them, including ensuring you have the right and consent to record any conversations.

You are also responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of any recordings, transcripts, or summaries you wish to preserve, unless backup functionality is expressly provided by the App.

5. AI Summary Service

When you request an AI-generated summary, the transcript text for that recording is transmitted to our servers over an encrypted connection for processing. We use third-party AI models to generate summaries. The summary is returned to your device and stored locally. We do not retain your transcript text or summary content on our servers after processing is complete.

AI-generated summaries are provided for informational convenience only and may contain errors or inaccuracies. You should not rely on summaries as a substitute for reviewing original recordings or transcripts, particularly for legal, medical, financial, or other critical purposes.

We may process transcript text temporarily as needed to provide the summary feature, maintain service reliability, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, and troubleshoot operational issues. Any such processing will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

You acknowledge that third-party AI providers may process submitted transcript text solely for the purpose of generating requested summaries on our behalf.

6. Subscriptions & Billing

Wavelogs offers a free tier and a paid subscription plan ("Wavelogs Pro"). Subscriptions are processed and managed by Apple through the App Store.

Refund requests must be directed to Apple in accordance with their App Store refund policies.

All payment processing, billing disputes, and refunds for in-app subscriptions are handled by Apple and subject to Apple's applicable terms and policies.

7. Usage Limits

AI summary features are subject to usage limits based on your plan. Free users receive a limited monthly allocation of AI summary minutes. Wavelogs Pro users receive a higher allocation. Usage resets on a monthly cycle based on your account creation date. We reserve the right to modify these limits with reasonable notice.

We may suspend or restrict access to AI summary features if we detect abuse, misuse, excessive automated activity, or attempts to circumvent plan limits.

8. Intellectual Property

Wavelogs, including its design, code, features, branding, and all related intellectual property, is owned by Nulle and protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or brand elements.

Your recordings, transcripts, and any content you create within the App remain yours. By using the AI summary feature, you grant us a limited, temporary license to process your transcript text solely for the purpose of generating and returning a summary to you.

9. Third-Party Services

Wavelogs integrates with third-party services including Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, OpenAI, Supabase, RevenueCat, and Firebase Analytics. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or availability of any third-party service.

Third-party services may change, suspend, or discontinue their services at any time, which may affect the availability or functionality of certain features within Wavelogs.

10. Disclaimers

Wavelogs is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Transcription and AI summary accuracy depend on audio quality, language, and other factors. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any transcription or summary output.

Wavelogs is not intended to serve as legal, medical, financial, compliance, emergency, or other professional advice, and it should not be used as a substitute for professional judgment or review.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Nulle and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to loss of data, lost profits, or damages resulting from reliance on AI-generated content.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or fifty U.S. dollars ($50), whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability or exclusion of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you to the extent prohibited by law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nulle and its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or rights of a third party.

13. Recording Laws

Recording laws vary by jurisdiction. Some jurisdictions require the consent of all parties to a conversation before recording. It is your sole responsibility to understand and comply with all applicable recording and consent laws in your jurisdiction. Nulle is not responsible for any legal consequences arising from your recordings.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Wavelogs at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases. Provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification shall survive termination.

You may stop using Wavelogs at any time by deleting the App from your device and, if applicable, canceling your subscription.

15. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or on our website. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Georgia.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Nulle with respect to your use of Wavelogs and supersede all prior agreements or communications on this subject.

20. App Store Terms

If you downloaded Wavelogs from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Nulle, not Apple, and that Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for the App. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price for the App to the extent required by its policies. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.

You also acknowledge that Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the App or your possession and use of the App, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar laws. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

21. Export Compliance

You may not use or otherwise export or re-export the App except as authorized by United States law and the laws of the jurisdiction in which the App was obtained. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo and that you are not listed on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

22. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any rights or obligations under them without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms, in whole or in part, in connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or by operation of law.

23. Force Majeure

We will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes outside our reasonable control, including failures of third-party services, internet outages, power outages, natural disasters, labor disputes, acts of government, or other force majeure events.
